Senior Principal Validation Engineer

Summary :

Principal Validation Engineer responsible for comprehensive validation of SOC Products as per Project key product indicators (KPI's) defined. Manage and support validation of multiple SOCs in parallel. Interacting with Global teams and representation for validation.

Job Responsibilities:

• As a Senior member of Silicon Validation team , you will support Post silicon validation of multiple SOCs in parallel designed on leading edge process technology node.
• Work independently and provide technical direction for junior team members. Interface with and support Design, Verification, Applications, Product and Test Engineering, Marketing, and others.
• Validate and debug Silicon in support of product release.
• Develop and improve automated validation  setups and scripts.
• Extensive experience in post silicon validation, able to automate the validation process to reduce the overall validation cycle time.

Job Qualification:

• Experienced professionals with 12-15 years of experience  in Post -silicon validation /Pre – Silicon emulation of digital SOCs.
• Solid experience validating complex SOCs.
• Good knowledge of microcontroller/ microprocessor architecture  and instruction set.
• Strong experience in C programming language and Scripting (Python).
• Solid concepts on RTOS, working experience on Free-RTOS is preferred.
• Should be a Kickstarter in ARM Programming with Embedded firmware development using ARM MCU, Linux, and other RTOS platforms.
• Solid understanding of Key Peripherals: Clocking, Power Management, Ethernet, PCIe, Serdes , USB etc.
• AI/ML tools knowhow and demonstrates automation enablement for code generation & debug
• Excellent engineering documentation skills, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
• Well organized, methodical, and detail oriented.
• Experience in working with engineering experts in a multi geography, multi-cultural environment.
