Mechanical Design Engineering Intern will be a part of the Clearances Design teams, responsible for the system level clearances activities of cold and hot sections.We are looking to hire a long-term Mechanical Design Engineering intern for up to 11 months, with an initial 6-month period and an optional 5-month extension.

Role Overview:
- Execution of creating FEM, design reviews, and field support for the sustaining engines
- Work closely with multiple teams to design the system, understand engine behaviors and help hardware owners and Systems for decision process
- Helping the team with documenting and reporting engineering work
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is a 3rd or 4th-year undergraduate student in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. They are proficient in engineering tools like UG NX and ANSYS, have experience in design reviews and test support, and demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Being an undergraduate student in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering etc. either studying 3rd or 4th year
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated skill in utilizing multiple engineering tools, UG NX, ANSYS
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong communication and documentation skills for reporting engineering work and collaborating across teams
- Experience with field support for sustaining engines
- Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and practices
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and adapt to dynamic project needs
