Description
- Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery.
- Load materials and adjust machine settings as required.
- Follow job specifications, work instructions, and production schedules.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Measure parts using appropriate measuring instruments.
- Identify equipment or product-quality problems and notify the supervisor.
- Complete production and inspection records accurately.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
- Wear required personal protective equipment.
- Assist with material handling and other production duties as needed.
- Previous machine-operating or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to read job instructions and use basic measuring tools.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately.
- Dependable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn different machines and production processes.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift approximately 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
