Job Description

Tremend is looking for an experienced Technical Architect / Integration Developer who is passionate about designing enterprise integration solutions and driving large-scale digital transformation initiatives in the banking sector. You will lead architecture and integration decisions, collaborate with international teams, and contribute to the delivery of innovative cloud-based lending platforms for major financial institutions across Europe. Responsibilites

• Define and lead end-to-end solution architecture and integration strategy for large-scale financial services implementations.
• Design, present, and defend technical architectures, with a primary focus on integrations and supporting platform components.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to implementation teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Architect and oversee integrations between enterprise banking systems and cloud-based platforms, selecting the most appropriate technical approach for each use case.
• Develop and promote reusable integration patterns, frameworks, and development standards.
• Deliver solution design and development activities including requirements analysis, functional specifications, technical design, integration, testing, and deployment.
• Evaluate third-party APIs, vendor interfaces, and integration capabilities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, integration methodologies, testing strategies, and implementation standards.
• Support DevOps processes and contribute to continuous improvement of software delivery practices.
• Produce clear, customer-facing technical documentation for complex solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across multiple concurrent projects.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, consultants, and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Skills and Experience

• 8+ years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong Python development skills and advanced understanding of API design and integration patterns, including REST, SOAP, authentication, error handling, and versioning.
• Experience designing and implementing ETL processes and both synchronous and asynchronous integrations.
• Advanced knowledge of data management, SQL, and relational database technologies.
• Hands-on experience with integration and ETL platforms.
• Salesforce Developer certification and experience working with Salesforce development tools, web services, and deployment frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and their application to integration architectures and distributed systems.
• Experience delivering solutions within the financial services industry.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research capabilities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Networking and infrastructure knowledge, including security, IP configuration, and proxy management.
• Experience with Salesforce architecture certifications or lending technology platforms.
• Knowledge of GDPR, data residency requirements, and Data Transfer Impact Assessments.
• Experience in commercial lending, loan origination, or banking transformation programmes.
• Exposure to cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.
