Repair Processing Officer

Our main products in Nieuw-Vennep, within Moog Industrial’s global Simulation & Test business, are the Motion Systems for creating the illusion of actual flight/drive, Control Loading Systems providing advanced force feedback on the pilot’s controls inside a simulator, Aerospace & Automotive Test Systems for material, structural and system testing and related Service offerings. We serve a wide variety of customers, including global OEM’s such as Airbus, Boeing, BMW, Ford, etc.
At Moog Nieuw Vennep, we are looking for a: Repair Processing Officer
Background information / responsibilities
The Repairs Processing Officer quotes, processes and monitors repair orders of products. This includes preparation, and distribution of reports regarding KPI’s and other administrative tasks. This function is an important role for the aftermarket business and is essential in achieving operational excellence.
The Repair Processing Officer supports the Order Processing Officer and Inside Sales with all sales activity for new spares and customer orders including processing of orders and affecting shop priorities to meet customer needs. The incumbent prepares sales/repair orders, handling telephone inquiries, performing follow-up activity, record keeping, and other miscellaneous duties associated with customer accounts.
Other responsibilities:
- Assuring operational excellence through applying an effective repair process in collaboration with (internal) Sales, Service, Operations, Trade compliance officer and accurate processing of order data in the business systems.
- Works closely together with the Order Processing Officer and the Administrative Assistant.
- Ensuring the correctness and completeness of the repair info.
- Providing excellent delivery performance on agreed delivery and lead times by adequate monitoring and assuring timely escalation of issues to responsible management.
- Supports the operational execution of a value stream of product families including spares & repairs together with Product Engineering, Supply Chain, A&T and Logistics.
- Acts as order processing backup by supporting this function during absence of the Order Processing Officer.
- Pro-actively participate in continuous improvement programs (Lean) of the order fulfillment and repair process of the Value Stream and helps identifying improvement areas of cost prize, lead times in the supply chain.
What skills and experience do we like you to have:
- Education MBO level
- 2-4 year experience in similar function
- Good Knowledge of Standard Software Programs like Windows, Excel, Access and working of ERP systems (SAP)
- Affection with numbers and reporting specific for cost prize calculations
- Pro-active and quality driven and team player with good social and communicative skills
- Ability to work independently
- Assertiveness and strength of implementation
- Accurate with attention to details
- Service oriented personality who communicates easily at different levels in the organization
- Good knowledge of English (both oral and in writing)
- Experienced with Continuous Improvement programs
- Knowledge of trade compliance efforts related to incoming orders
Reporting line:
The candidate will report directly to the Manager Operations.
