As a Security Officer - Overnight Dedicated Residential Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving role calls for professional communication, strong customer service, and dependable reporting. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to resident concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the residential community, observe and report unusual activity, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly residential environment by communicating professionally with residents, visitors, property staff, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
