The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
 

As a Tax Provision Specialist you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

How you will make an impact

  • Review quarterly income tax provision packages for international entities
  • Review return-to-provision true-ups for international entities
  • Assist with the Effective Tax Rate calculations and analysis
  • Prepare tax account reconciliations
  • Prepare and lead cash tax reconciliation and reporting
  • Assist in the overall preparation and documentation of the income tax footnote and disclosures for Forms 10-Q and 10-K SEC filings.
  • Prepare and coordinate the work plan for each quarter close
  • Prepare supporting documents for internal controls and assist in ensuring the controls are executed properly
  • Assist with tax technology transformations to improve processes
  • Research income tax accounting issues
  • Assist with various other projects as needed.

Your Skills and Expertise 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND over 5 years of experience in public accounting and/or a multinational corporate tax department.
  • Strong ASC 740 (U.S. GAAP accounting guidance for income taxes) and corporate income tax knowledge base required

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax regulations and assess their impact on the business.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey tax concepts to non-tax professionals.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all aspects of tax compliance and reporting.
  • Organizational Agility: ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficiency with OneSource Tax Provision, SAP, OneStream and MS Excel (experience with Alteryx a plus)
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues across different functions and locations.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Experience with corporate income tax laws in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements.

Work location: Bangalore (Hybrid)

Travel: 40% Office Commute
