O&L Staging Coordinator
Job Description:
This role is primarily responsible for staging and pre-loading trucks to ensure they are ready for the next day's deliveries and field operations. The position drives trucks between the neighboring yard and the O&L yard, loads and off-loads product, fills and labels totes, and verifies that all products, parts, and equipment are accounted for and secured for transport. This role works closely with the Operations team and yard personnel to keep the loading process efficient and on schedule.

Schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Sunday evening through Thursday evening

Responsibilities:
  • Pre-loads and stages trucks to ensure they are ready for the next day's scheduled deliveries and service work.
  • Drives trucks from the neighboring yard to the O&L yard and successfully off-loads and loads them with the correct product for the following day.
  • Reviews load requirements and delivery schedules to determine what products, parts, and equipment are needed for each truck.
  • Verifies load accuracy and completeness before trucks are released for the field.
  • Ensures all loads are properly secured in compliance with company and DOT requirements.
  • Fills totes with the correct product and applies proper labels to all totes.
  • Identifies totes that are not for use, stages totes in their correct locations, and inspects totes for damage before use.
  • Operates forklifts, loaders, and other equipment necessary to load and stage trucks safely.
  • Communicates shortages or missing items to Operations and Purchasing so they can be resolved before load-out.
  • Maintains accurate records of loaded items in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and safe staging and loading area to prevent injury and improve productivity.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 24 years of age and able to maintain insurability with company insurance
  • Forklift experience required
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to work overtime as needed outside of normally scheduled shift with little or no advance notification
  • Capable of performing a wide range of physical activities which include pulling, reaching, bending, climbing, and kneeling
  • Accountability – ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions
