Location: The Greens,, 21 Murdock Road, Sheffield, S5 8BU
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am till 5pm - 37 hours per week.
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £25,877.80 - £34,240.03 per annum

About the Role
As a Support Coordinator at The Greens, you’ll work as part of our Sheffield Accommodation team, supporting people to develop the skills, confidence and stability they need to live independently and move towards sustained accommodation.
You’ll provide practical, person-centred housing and recovery support, working with individuals to understand their needs, manage risks and develop achievable support plans. You’ll also deliver group sessions covering areas such as housing options, tenancy readiness and recovery-focused programmes.
This is a varied role where you’ll build positive relationships with the people we support while working closely with colleagues, referral agencies and other professionals to help individuals achieve lasting and meaningful outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Support individuals to live independently and progress towards sustainable accommodation.
- Develop and regularly review person-centred support and risk management plans.
- Deliver housing, tenancy readiness and recovery-focused group sessions.
- Maintain accurate case notes and records on relevant systems.
- Identify and respond appropriately to safeguarding and risk concerns.
- Work closely with colleagues, external agencies and other professionals to provide joined-up support.
- Attend multi-agency meetings and undertake outreach where required.
To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need
- Experience supporting people with housing, recovery or other complex needs, or relevant transferable experience.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive, professional relationships.
- An understanding of safeguarding, risk management and person-centred support.
- Good organisation and record keeping skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
- Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends when required.
