Job Description Summary

Responsible for quantity surveying and commercial management activities for an upcoming major project in Vietnam. This role will oversee cost planning, tendering, contract administration, commercial risk, and project financial performance throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure strong commercial and cost outcomes.

About the Role:

• Responsible for quantity surveying and commercial management activities across medium to large-scale projects, including cost planning, budgeting, financial forecasting, cost reporting, and commercial risk management throughout the project lifecycle.

• Prepare and review cost estimates, bills of quantities, tender documentation, valuations, and commercial reports while ensuring accurate measurement of works and effective cost control against approved project budgets.

• Manage tendering and contract administration activities, including contractor and supplier negotiations, contract preparation, variations, claims, progress payments, and commercial assessments in accordance with project and client requirements.

• Provide commercial and contractual advice to clients and project teams, identifying project risks, conducting cost analysis and value engineering, and supporting the resolution of contractual or commercial matters.

• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders and ensuring commercial activities comply with relevant standards, regulations, and quality requirements.

About You:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Real Estate, or a related discipline, with approximately 5–10 years of relevant Quantity Surveying and commercial management experience across medium to large-scale construction projects.

• Strong experience across cost planning, estimation, tendering, BOQ preparation, contract administration, cost control, variations, claims, financial reporting, and commercial risk management.

• Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, airport/aviation, industrial, data centre, MEP-intensive, or other technically complex developments is highly advantageous.

• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and local market practices, with demonstrated capability in commercial negotiations, value engineering, stakeholder management, and client-facing advisory.

• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills in English and Vietnamese, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
