Position Overview
Intellect Solutions LLC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Solutions Architect to join our Growth and Business Development team. This individual will play a key role in supporting Intellect’s federal growth strategy by working closely with Capture, Business Development, Proposal, Pricing, Recruiting, and Program Delivery teams to develop compelling and technically sound solutions for federal opportunities.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical architecture experience with an understanding of the federal capture and proposal lifecycle and can translate customer mission requirements into innovative, executable, secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Capture, Business Development, Proposal, Pricing, Recruiting, and Program Delivery teams to identify, qualify, shape, and pursue federal opportunities.
- Analyze RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, draft solicitations, PWS/SOW requirements, evaluation criteria, and customer technical environments.
- Architect comprehensive technical solutions aligned with customer mission requirements, evaluation criteria, and business objectives.
- Lead technical solution development throughout the capture and proposal lifecycle, including technical narratives, architectures, diagrams, workflows, and supporting artifacts.
- Participate in solutioning sessions, technical reviews, proposal color teams, oral presentation preparation, and capture strategy sessions.
- Conduct technical assessments and recommend cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, application modernization, data, AI/ML, automation, and enterprise architecture solutions.
- Design cloud and hybrid-cloud solutions using AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- Incorporate DevSecOps, CI/CD, containerization, Kubernetes, automation, observability, Zero Trust, and Infrastructure-as-Code principles into proposed solutions.
- Identify opportunities to incorporate Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, data analytics, and intelligent automation into customer solutions.
- Develop Proofs of Concept (PoCs), prototypes, and demonstrations when appropriate.
- Ensure proposed solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, cost-effective, and capable of meeting customer performance and reliability requirements.
- Work with technology vendors and teaming partners to develop integrated solutions and identify appropriate technologies and products.
- Develop technical assumptions, staffing models, Bills of Materials (BOMs), labor estimates, and Basis of Estimates (BOEs) in collaboration with the Pricing team.
- Participate in customer meetings, technical exchanges, industry days, oral presentations, and solution demonstrations as required.
- Stay current on federal technology priorities, emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive solutions and contribute to Intellect’s overall growth strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Technical Architect, Enterprise Architect, or similar technical leadership role.
- Experience supporting federal government contracting, capture, business development, and/or proposal development strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex customer requirements into practical and compelling technical solutions.
- Experience designing cloud or hybrid-cloud solutions using AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of solution architecture principles, including scalability, availability, security, resiliency, interoperability, and performance optimization.
- Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, Kubernetes, automation, and modern software development methodologies.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, Zero Trust Architecture, Identity and Access Management, cloud security, and federal security requirements.
- Knowledge of AI/ML, Generative AI, data analytics, and automation technologies is highly desirable.
- Experience developing technical proposal content, solution diagrams, technical approaches, technical assumptions, staffing estimates, and BOEs is preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, deadline-driven federal capture and proposal environments.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related technical discipline. Master’s degree preferred.
