ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end project execution from initiation through delivery and closure, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, cost, and quality requirements. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project documentation, and ensure effective communication between internal stakeholders and external customers. The role includes overseeing project planning, contract and order management, change control, milestone tracking, and system data maintenance, while ensuring smooth execution of customer interactions such as trials, testing, and project meetings. You will play a key role in driving operational efficiency, maintaining governance standards, and ensuring successful and timely project delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES but not limited to:
•
Lead end-to-end semiconductor equipment projects from requirements and design through prototype, integration, qualification, and customer delivery.
•
Develop and manage project plans, milestones, resources, dependencies, budgets, and critical paths.
•
Establish clear ownership, priorities, deliverables, and accountability across cross-functional teams.
•
Drive alignment across Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Software, Process, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Service.
•
Monitor overall project performance and proactively identify actions required to maintain delivery commitments.
•
Coordinate global engineering requirements with local engineering, manufacturing, and supplier capabilities.
•
Lead project reviews, design reviews, technical discussions, and management reviews.
•
Resolve cross-functional dependencies, resource constraints, and technical issues through effective stakeholder management.
•
Communicate project status, priorities, risks, and key decisions to senior leadership.
•
Establish mitigation, contingency, and recovery plans for critical risks.
•
Drive escalation and decision-making when issues impact project commitment
•
Coordinate engineering deliverables including requirements, specifications, drawings, BOMs, engineering changes, test plans, and qualification documentation.
•
Manage local suppliers and contract manufacturers for precision semiconductor equipment components and assemblies.
•
Coordinate component, subassembly, and system build activities across suppliers and manufacturing teams.
•
Track long-lead and critical-path items and ensure timely availability of materials and components.
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Proven experience leading complex, multidisciplinary technical projects.

Strong project planning, scheduling, prioritization, and execution skills.
•
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
•
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
•
Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and escalation skills.
•
Strong documentation and organizational skills
•
Understanding of project lifecycle and delivery processes
•
Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
•
System-level knowledge of mechanical, electrical, controls, software, motion, vacuum, thermal, fluid, and automation systems is added advantage
•
Familiarity with enterprise project or ERP systems (e.g., SAP or equivalent) is added advantage
•
Ability to work effectively with global teams and across different time zones.
•
Attention to detail and process adherence
•
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
•
Customer-focused mindset with service orientation
QUALIFICATIONS
•
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
•
2–5 years of experience in project management, operations, or coordination roles
•
Exposure to enterprise systems for project tracking and documentation is an advantage
•
Certification in Project Management (PMP / PRINCE2 / equivalent) is a plus (optional but preferred)
