About this opportunity:

The Role is responsible to manage and coordinate Network Operations and drive domain escalation management with support of team members for Packet Core domain. This role will provide domain expertise in delivery related matters to the team, manage domain stakeholders, drive Service Delivery. The role will be assigned to people who perform the activities mentioned above and manage people supporting these activities.24X7 Shift .

What you will do:

• Responsible to manage and balance resources, cost, and competence based on business needs. Plan job rotation, recruit resources..
• Drive competence management and continuous learning.
• Conduct succession planning, talent management and develop leadership skills. I
• Responsible to manage unit financials , approve and track time booking for the team
• Drive and execute on Service Delivery through automation and continuous optimization in process and ways of working to reduce cost of delivery
• Drive stakeholder management, participate in governance/customer meetings and support pre-sales activities
• Responsible for delivery performance as per WLA. Measure and report on network KPIs.
• Ensure execution of EOE process to delivery network operations. Apply automation, innovation, and data analytics. Take corrective actions to drive continuous service improvements.
• Manage and reduce escalations with respect to quality, delivery and competence
• Responsible to drive strategy implementation and change management. Develop plans for team development connected to business needs.
• Ensure secure workplace and manage access rights.
• Responsible to drive ethics & compliance and promote Ericsson values
• Responsible to drive OHS/EHS awareness and compliance
• Total Experience: 16-22 years with 8 -10 years in Telecom Industry
• Previous experience of leading teams with line management experience

What Will you bring

• Should have strong knowledge of the tools, systems, and processes used in NOC monitoring, along with their interworking, for a large and complex network.
• Strong capability in analysing existing processes to identify gaps and implement improvements, resulting in faster event resolution, reduced MTTR, and enhanced monitoring reliability. Supporting the vision of a data-driven, proactive, and intelligent NOC, where monitoring, event management, and incident response are optimized end-to-end.
• Good understanding of Packet Core Network Architecture in technologies of 2G, 3G, 4G & 5G.
• Experience in Managing Teams that manage Packet Core Domain
• Good Technical knowledge of Packet Core Domain & Service Flows.
• Expertise in Packet Core networks – Troubleshooting and Incident Handling for Multi vendor Nodes of Cisco , Nokia , Ericsson , Huawei.
• Able to drive Automations to bring in Efficiencies and Optimized ways of working.
• Good Understanding of Cloud technologies with respect to IP Networking – Open Shift & Open Stack – for Packet Core Deployments.
• Clear understanding of the managed service delivery business requirement
