UPS is seeking an Advanced Risk Analyst who strengthens security operations through data, process development, and analytical product support. This role is responsible for building and enhancing analytical processes, maintaining and evolving dashboards and data products, and gathering complex data that supports investigative and operational priorities.
Advanced Risk Analytics Analysts translate data into actionable intelligence, identify emerging risks and trends, and apply business knowledge to develop scalable solutions that improve visibility, decision-making, and security outcomes across the organization. This role requires strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, dashboard development, and the broader business environment to support both day-to-day operations and longer-term strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
· Build, maintain, and enhance analytical processes that support security operations, investigations, and risk identification.
· Develop, maintain, and improve dashboards, reporting tools, and analytical products that provide clear visibility into risk trends and operational performance.
· Gather, analyze, and interpret complex data from multiple sources to identify emerging risks, patterns, and investigative leads.
· Apply knowledge of Google Cloud Platform tools and environments to support data analysis, process automation, and scalable analytical solutions.
· Partner with field teams and cross-functional stakeholders to support active investigations and operational priorities with timely, actionable intelligence.
· Independently identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen reporting, and enhance the usefulness and adoption of analytical products.
· Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations that support informed decision-making across the organization.
· Support the design and evolution of data-driven solutions that align security needs with broader business priorities.
· Monitor data quality, process consistency, and product effectiveness to ensure accurate and reliable outputs.
· Balance multiple analytical, operational, and project-based responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong collaboration with internal partners.
· Contribute to long-term process maturity by building repeatable methods, scalable solutions, and improved analytical workflows.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree or International Equivalent – Preferred
· Experience in analytics, risk, security, investigations, or a related field preferred.
· Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and its application to data analysis, process support, and solution development.
· Experience building and maintaining dashboards, reporting tools, and analytical products.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
· Working knowledge of the business and the ability to connect analytical output to operational needs and organizational priorities.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
· Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
