Sterilization Technician - Lighthouse Dental Kingston

Schedule:   

Monday to Thursday: 4.00pm-8.00pm

Friday: 9.00am-5.00pm

The wage for this Sterilization Assistant position is $21-$25/hour depending on skills, experience, and location. 

 Please note that this is a replacement job opening. 

Your Role: 

• Clean, package, sterilize, and store dental instruments in compliance with IPAC standards and provincial regulations 
• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, completing required testing and documentation 
• Maintain accurate records to support compliance and audit readiness 
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized reprocessing area following health and safety protocols 
• Identify and report equipment or sterilization issues promptly 
• Collaborate with the clinical team to support efficient patient flow 

About You: 

• Previous clinical experience working in sterilization role is considered an asset 
• Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting and/or Medical Device Reprocessing Technician (MDRT) Programs is preferred 
• Experience with IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) is an asset
