About the role
As an Internal Sales Representative, you will be a key point of contact for our customers, managing enquiries and orders while building strong, long-term relationships.
This is a varied, hands-on role that combines internal sales, customer service, branch support and occasional warehouse duties. You will work closely with the Branch Manager, sales team and wider Motion network to ensure customer requirements are met accurately and on time.
What kind of work may be involved?
- Providing product support to a diverse customer base.
- Front counter customer service, answering and processing customer’s enquiries & orders via phone, email, and counter sales.
- Some warehouse duties - picking & packing customer orders, local deliveries when required.
- Developing customer relationships to ensure the Branch is the supplier of choice.
- Assisting in developing and implementing showroom promotional activity to drive counter sales.
Ideal skills & experience:
- Experience in customer service, internal sales or a similar role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A positive, reliable and proactive approach to work.
- Strong time-management, problem-solving and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- A demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Ability to assist with occasional manual handling, including lifting to 5kg.
