Job Description & Summary

The Opportunity

As an Intern in our Digital Assurance team, you will engage in a dynamic learning environment, gaining exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies. You will support teams by participating in projects, conducting research, and performing basic tasks that contribute to the success of our client engagements. Within our Assurance practice, you will have the opportunity to observe and learn from experienced professionals, enhancing your understanding of financial reporting and decision-making processes.

As an Intern, you will focus on developing your personal brand while supporting teams and participating in projects. You will be encouraged to adopt a learning mindset, actively listen, and express ideas clearly. This role emphasizes the importance of appreciating diverse perspectives and applying professional standards. In this role at PwC, you will gain valuable insights into the world of auditing and assurance, setting the foundation for your future career.

Responsibilities

- Supporting audit teams by participating in the execution of digital assurance tasks
- Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain insights into financial reporting and compliance
- Assisting in the application of auditing methodologies to enhance the accuracy and reliability of assessments
- Engaging in basic research and data analysis to contribute to project goals
- Participating in the development and testing of artificial intelligence platforms for audit processes
- Collaborating with team members to apply cloud engineering principles in audit tasks
- Contributing to the evaluation of compliance and governance frameworks within client organizations
- Gathering and analyzing information to identify patterns and support decision-making processes
- Applying a learning mindset to develop personal skills and understanding of PwC practices
- Actively listening and asking questions to enhance understanding and contribute effectively to team discussions

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
