Role Summary:
The main objective of this position is the proper maintenance, growth, and adaptation of the infrastructure for the Flowserve Santa Clara operations.
Responsible for end-to-end implementation of the capital expenditure portfolio (CapEx), as well as coordinating and executing maintenance and improvement tasks for the facility's infrastructure, buildings, offices, and plant services.
This position ensures that Flowserve Santa Clara’s infrastructure complies with operational needs, internal regulations, and safety standards within the framework of capital investments and plant spending. This includes managing resources, selecting contractors, administering budgets, and defining technical and safety scopes for all activities.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Develop and prepare budgets and project scopes for CapEx.
- Execution of CapEx projects under the stipulated budget, scope, and timeline.
- Compliance with corporate compliance, ethical, and financial policies in all assigned activities.
- Coordinate tasks related to maintenance, modification, or adaptation of infrastructure, buildings, and offices (non-capitalizable).
- Execute the tasks outlined within the assigned budget, in the required timeframe, ensuring quality and safety throughout.
- Track cash paid / carryover budget execution, plan monthly and annual spending, and provide reporting to corporate management.
- Development of non-capitalizable projects.
- Perform risk analysis and develop mitigation plans for assigned tasks, as well as mitigation plans for any delays that may arise.
- Coordination of vendors and contractors.
- Creation of layouts and modification proposals.
- Provide infrastructure support for laboratory, production, and machining areas.
- Coordination of subcontracted services: Cafeteria, Cleaning, HVAC (AAC).
- Provide support to the Maintenance Supervisor on infrastructure-related tasks.
- Act as backup for the Maintenance Supervisor in specific situations.
- Coordinate and manage the external cafeteria service provider. Point of contact for complaints, service improvements, special services (when operations require extraordinary support from the vendor), and follow-up on the service invoicing process.

- Execute corrections and improvements required in buildings, offices, and infrastructure based on plant personnel safety observations.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 3–4 years of experience in a support role for facilities, infrastructure, or industrial and building maintenance.
- Experience implementing safe work policies with contractors.
- English (Intermediate).
- Use of CAD software.
- MS Office.
- MS Project.
- Knowledge of electricity (installations, substations).
- Knowledge of civil works (materials, finishing/interior works, core & shell/structural works).
- Adherence to internal policies and procedures.
