Healthcare Project Manager | Brooklyn, NY
About the Role:
A healthcare organization in Brooklyn is hiring a Project Manager to own utilization, staffing, and caregiver compliance across their patient population. The role exists to catch missed visits, staffing gaps, and clock-in problems before they turn into patient-care issues. It's a full-time, in-office position.
Key Responsibilities
Utilization & Staffing
- Monitor patient utilization and track authorized vs. actual hours
- Identify the causes behind missed visits or low utilization and work with coordinators to resolve them
- Track staffing to keep patients consistently covered
Caregiver Compliance
- Monitor caregiver clock-in/clock-out activity and flag compliance issues
- Follow up with caregivers who aren't meeting visit or documentation requirements
Reporting & Process Improvement
- Build and maintain Excel reports on utilization, missed visits, staffing, and compliance
- Pull data from multiple teams and turn it into clear reports for management
- Spot trends and recurring issues affecting utilization
- Partner with staffing, coordination, and compliance teams to improve processes
- Take ownership of projects aimed at improving utilization and operations
Qualifications
- Organized, analytical, and excellent at follow-up
- Comfortable working in Excel; strong Excel skills a plus
- Enjoys digging into a problem's root cause and working with a team to fix it
