Description
We are seeking a professional to join our team in Chennai, India, reporting to the Global Lead of Commercial Cards Program Setup & Maintenance. The primary responsibilities for this position include driving operational efficiency within the team and ensuring a robust risk management framework. This role requires strong commercial awareness and involves close collaboration with stakeholders at both the cluster and global levels to support our diverse operational landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Be accountable for the Commercial Cards Rebates functions
- Drive and manage Operational projects and initiatives for the function responsible globally working closely with stakeholders to delivery industry leading metrics and efficiency and deliver best-in-class Service.
- Be client-facing as appropriate, representing the business and Citi to best effect
- Perform MCA for functions and ensure flawless adherence to controls
- Ensuring effective measures and metrics are in-place to monitor operational performance (KPIs, KRI’s, TATs) and work across the matrix to address and resolve issues and gaps.
- Work with vendors to drive efficiency and align processes and controls and share best practice
- Drive process and operational improvements, creating an environment that continually enhances the business
- Maintain effective relationships with colleagues, management, internal/external clients, and stakeholders
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- 10-14 years of experience in a related role with experience in Commercial/Credit Cards specific to Rebates function
- Knowledge/experience in Financial Ops/Settlements will be an added advantage
- Proven experience in creating and implementing processes that result in improved business performance
- Effective verbal and written communication and analytical skills
- Must have excellent accounting knowledge & good Analytical skills
- Must have good understanding of End-to-End Cards flow and Client pricing structure
- Accounting knowledge on Revenues and Accruals
- Problem solving skills and managing stakeholders
Education:
Bachelor's/University degree in Commerce or Finance, master’s degree preferred (not Mandatory)
