As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Access Control in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, entrances, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support access-control procedures.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site policies, and report unauthorized access attempts or other security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication protocols.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- A Security Professional Guard Card or applicable license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
