Opportunity
We are looking for an AI Transformation Lead to help accelerate the adoption of AI technologies across engineering platforms, software products, and engineering workflows supporting transformer design and development.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between AI strategy and execution. Working closely with software engineers, engineering teams, solution architects, data specialists, cybersecurity experts, and innovation teams, you will identify opportunities where AI can deliver measurable value and help transform those opportunities into practical solutions.
This is a highly visible role with significant autonomy and influence, offering the opportunity to shape how AI capabilities are introduced, scaled, and operationalized across multiple engineering organizations.
How you will make an impact
- Drive the adoption of AI technologies across engineering platforms, software solutions, and development teams.
- Translate strategic AI initiatives into practical implementation plans and measurable outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to improve engineering productivity, software delivery, and business processes through AI-enabled solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define use cases, validate ideas, and support implementation activities.
- Work closely with architects, data specialists, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of AI capabilities.
- Promote modern engineering practices and AI-assisted development approaches.
- Support modernization initiatives, including the evolution of legacy systems and adoption of new technology patterns.
- Drive experimentation, proof-of-concepts, and innovation initiatives in collaboration with the innovation organization.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities relevant to the engineering organization.
- Establish frameworks, best practices, and governance approaches that enable safe and scalable adoption of AI solutions
Your background
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, digital transformation, innovation, or related technology roles.
- Hands-on experience delivering software solutions and implementing technology transformations within complex organizations.
- Practical experience with AI technologies, machine learning solutions, generative AI, or intelligent automation initiatives.
- Understanding of modern software development practices, cloud platforms, and enterprise architecture principles.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and technical teams.
- Strong ability to connect business objectives with technology solutions.
- Experience identifying and delivering process improvements through automation and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Good written and spoken English (B2 or higher).
- Nice to have: Experience with Azure AI services, Azure OpenAI, Databricks, NVIDIA ecosystem, ML platforms, or modern data platforms. Experience in engineering, manufacturing, industrial, or energy-related organizations. Experience implementing AI governance, responsible AI practices, or cybersecurity controls for AI solutions Experience supporting enterprise-wide transformation programs.
