Account Manager

As an Account Manager you deliver FMCG shopper insights tailored to the needs of your clients so they can make the best possible business decisions. You define the optimal research solution to answer your customer’s business questions powered by our trusted YouGov consumer panel data and our customizable solutions.

We are looking for a passionate Account Manager with a strong consulting mindset who is eager to take the client’s business a step further. Reporting to our Commercial Lead also based in Leuven, you manage and grow a client portfolio of renowned FMCG companies and retailers. You thrive on challenging both clients and colleagues, using your expertise to deliver the best possible strategic advice. With a creative and analytical mindset, you’ll transform data and market trends into actionable insights and communicate them through compelling storytelling.

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do:

• Design clear and compelling research proposals to successfully answer customer’s Key Business Questions.

• Develop relevant insights together with market analysts and other consultants and translate them into strategic advise.

• Advise customers in developing effective strategies, together with your local and international counterparts.

• Keep clients informed on the most recent market trends.

• Create new business opportunities with existing and new clients.

• Act as YouGov ambassador to your clients and at industry events.

These are the essentials for having an interview:

• Master’s degree and at least 3 years of experience at a market research agency / FMCG company / retailer.

• Fluent communication skills, both written and spoken, in Dutch or French. Communication skills in English, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders in an international business environment.

• Combine analytical thinking with a problem-solving attitude to address customer challenges effectively.

• You are commercially driven from a fact-based consultancy point of view and are on a continuous look-out to spot commercial opportunities

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, being a proactive team player.

• Passion for the FMCG industry.

•  Vacancy based in Leuven with hybrid working arrangement (2 days p/w in the office).
