Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Reception Operations in Quakertown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control, issue badges, and support security-related communications. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will help maintain an orderly environment while delivering outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour

• Valid Driver's License:

  • Candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123).
  • Candidates must also hold a valid driver's license specific to the job state (C124).

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):

  • Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management.

• Alarm Panel Experience (B202):

  • Familiarity with alarm panel systems is required for relevant positions.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):

  • Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets for job-related tasks.

• CPR Certification (B205):

  • A valid CPR certification is mandatory for positions that require emergency response capabilities.

• Customer Service Experience (B219):

  • Candidates should have a background in customer service, showcasing their ability to interact effectively with clients and customers.

• Loss Prevention (B210):

  • Experience in loss prevention strategies and practices is preferred for applicable roles.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access to the distribution location, verify visitor and driver credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate entry records.
• Receive, screen, and direct phone calls, deliveries, and inquiries in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Maintain awareness of front desk activity and report unusual or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
