RTXs' Supply Chain Logistics team is seeking a Logistics Specialist, Packing & Shipping Receiving Technician to support the Surveillance Logistics, McKinney Pack Ship department using multiple parallel software applications to receive, validate, and in-process hardware.
What You Will Do
- Provide support to both McKinney and Satellite Site Pack Ship organizations as part of the Pack Preparation team.
- Perform physical and administrative tasks including customer service, material handling, material movement, data entry, as well as storing and distributing supplies and equipment.
- Utilize computer systems proficiently to execute tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure attention to detail and maintain strong organizational practices to meet operational demands.
- Collaborate effectively as a team player, contributing to a positive and efficient work environment.
- Prioritize work tasks effectively and strive to exceed targeted goals and performance metrics.
- Adapt quickly and efficiently between various job functions to support dynamic workflow needs.
- Operate in a warehouse environment adhering to mandatory safety protocols, including wearing safety shoes and glasses.
- Be willing and able to travel to additional logistics sites in the Dallas area to provide operational support as needed.
- Lift up to 28 lbs.
What You Will Learn
How to effectively utilize SAP systems, including PRISM and APEX, to manage material handling, inventory, and shipment processes. Mastery of the cycle time tool to track and improve operational efficiency. In-depth knowledge of in-process protocols for validating shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance. Best practices for material handling, movement, and storage in a warehouse environment. Effective teamwork and communication within a dynamic logistics and warehouse environment. Adherence to safety protocols, including the proper use of safety equipment such as safety shoes and glasses.
Qualifications You Must Have
- HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Warehouse, packaging/packing-related work experience.
- This position requires the team member to use their own vehicle to drive to and work at Raytheon’s logistics satellite sites in the North Texas area.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer
- General industry experience and understanding of protocol in a defense company, including work with Government Furnished Material.
- Working knowledge of SAP, WAWF, and Defense Transportation Regulations.
- Can operate a crane and hoist for product packing and unpacking.
- Excellent verbal, written, organizational and time management skills.

The salary range for this role is 43,400 USD - 82,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
