As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and assist employees and visitors with professionalism. You will use computer or tablet systems to document observations and communicate clearly while delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a corporate technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, observations, and/or changes in site conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
