Job Description:
HPE Financial Services (HPEFS) is a division of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) that provides financing and asset management solutions to businesses. We offer a range of services designed to help organizations acquire and manage IT assets, including financing IT purchases, asset management, and sustainability solutions.
HPEFS is seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Director, West Region to lead and grow our sales operations across the western United States and Canada. This leadership role requires a proven track record in managing complex client relationships, structuring large-scale deals, and driving revenue growth within a highly competitive environment. The Sales Director will oversee a team of sales professionals, develop strategic account plans, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales Leadership: Lead the sales efforts within the West Region, overseeing a team of sales representatives, associates, and financial area managers responsible for large corporate accounts.
Client & Deal Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with large hyperscale clients, focusing on structuring complex financing solutions and high-value deals.
Team Development & Performance Management: Coach and develop sales professionals, ensuring achievement of revenue targets, with a performance framework that emphasizes accountability and continuous improvement.
Quota & Growth Targets: Drive the region’s sales quota, while managing large and complex client portfolios. Responsible for achieving/managing quarterly, half yearly, annual quota and/or margin for his/her Region.
Understands Lifecyle Asset Management Solutions: Knowledge of the company's breadth of solutions and engages specialist resources as needed. Ability to understand the customer's business issues and translate to the company's solutions.
Market & Regional Strategy: Develop and execute strategic plans for the region, including targeting new clients and expanding existing accounts, with a focus on large-scale enterprise and hyperscale clients across the western US and Canada.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, legal, and finance teams to support deal structuring, contract negotiations, and compliance.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in enterprise sales leadership, with a focus on large corporate and hyperscale client accounts.
Demonstrated success in managing complex deal structures, including financing solutions for large clients.
Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing sales team.
Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop regional plans aligned with organizational goals.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Experience working with cross-functional teams including legal, operations, and finance.
Ability to travel regionally and internationally as needed.
Education and Experience Required:
University or Bachelor's degree, advanced university or Master's degree preferred.
5+ years of sales and progressive management experience, and enterprise sales leadership
10+ years of large corporate, hyperscale client account experience building financing solutions for large clients

– United States of America: Annual Salary USD 236,500 - 573,000 in Illinois & Texas
This range reflects the minimum to maximum combined base and target-level sales compensation that would be paid if the hire performs at 100% of their sales plan. Of that on-target pay amount, the mix of base salary and target-level sales compensation is 60%/40%."
