Looking for friendly, reliable, flexible, customer-service-minded servers, hosts, bartenders, and runners/bussers. Expanded Evanston restaurant with patio and private dining to open at the end of August. Full-time and part-time possible, evening and weekend availability is required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain a positive, hospitable, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and co-workers at all times.
- Gain knowledge of all our products and services with the ability to answer questions accurately.
- Acknowledge and resolve any customer issues and complaints.
- Keep up with the side work, keep things clean and orderly.
- Communicate and coordinate with customers, kitchen, and colleagues effectively.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
- Provide customer and other feedback to the Soul & Smoke team.
- Specific tasks are role-dependent.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stay calm and respectful under stress, and if customers are upset.
- Able to walk/stand for most of the shift, and to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable using handheld POS system.
- Experience working with customer support.
- Quick problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to multitask and keep organized.
- Ability to work in a team with different personalities.
- Prior food experience and knowledge required.
- Evening and weekend availability required.
- Valid food handler and BASSET alcohol service certificates required within 30 days of starting employment.
Job Details:
- JOB TYPE: Part-time or full-time, hourly positions.
- PAY: Starting at $21+ per hour, which includes pooled revenue share of $4-6+ per hour.
