Senior Software Engineer Production Support

Description
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve critical functional and performance issues across the core platform.
- Implement new features, tooling, and performance improvements to prevent issue recurrence.
- Collaborate closely with other engineers, QA, customer support to escalate and solve complex problems.
- Design and utilize AI agents to automate root cause analysis and streamline incident response.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 5+ years of professional experience building, maintaining, and debugging full-stack production software systems.
- Strong proficiency with Java, data pipelines, and web system architecture.
- Database expertise, including relational databases (MySQL) and NoSQL distributed databases (Cassandra).
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, including eventual consistency, high availability, and failover mechanics.
- Proficiency with JavaScript
- Proven ability to rapidly context-switch, navigate unfamiliar codebases, and safely deploy fixes.
- A strong focus on test-driven development, automation, and overall code quality.
- Professional backend development experience in Python or PHP.
- Familiarity with financial markets, exchange protocols, FIX, or low-latency networking.
- Proficiency in modern C++ (C++17 or newer).
- Experience deploying, supporting, and debugging containerized services in AWS.
- Experience using modern frameworks like React.
