Life Cycle Engineering encompasses multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices, and our customers. These disciplines are involved throughout the entire life cycle of our products—from initial conception through deactivation. Our primary focus area is product support, which includes Reliability, System Safety, and Supportability.

As a Logistics Analyst supporting the Inventory Management Specialist, you will be a key member of the team, working closely with Engineering Product Team Leads, Cross‑Product Team Leads, and Integrated Product Team Leads. In this role, you will help procure, invoice, receive, and maintain the materials required to test and sustain the equipment at the Patriot Test Facility – Andover (PTFA).

What You Will Do

  • Lead the identification, selection, and evaluation of suppliers and vendors for material purchases, providing guidance to lower‑level team members as needed.

  • Partner with Planners and Buyers to manage procurement of engineering materials and spares required for PTFA, ensuring alignment with operational priorities and schedules.

  • Collaborate with requesting engineers to ensure specifications and requirements for procured items are fully defined. Review and validate purchase orders with Buyers to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to submission.

  • Coordinate and oversee the completion of Special Assessment Forms for purchases exceeding $10K, ensuring documentation accuracy and compliance with established policies.

  • Maintain and improve logistics records and databases, recommending and implementing moderate process enhancements to increase operational efficiency.

  • Manage online purchase requests and daily procurement activities for PTFA, exercising judgment to resolve issues that span multiple stakeholders or systems.

  • Monitor material status across the procurement cycle to ensure timely receipt, invoicing, and issue resolution, and communicate updates to internal and external partners as required.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.

  • Experience with one or more of the following: data analysis, data collection, logistics, Engineering Documentation, Configuration Management (CM), Technical Data Packages or Product Data Management (PDM).

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Understanding of missile system product lines (e.g., Patriot) and associated major end items, with general knowledge of life cycle processes.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.Strong communication, organization, and investigative skills.

  • Ability to work independently and produce accurate documentation under deadline pressure.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Experience with ALCS / MSALT

  • Experience supporting an engineering lab environment.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
