Position Overview
Embedded Software CI/CD Engineer is responsible for developing and improving continuous integration and continuous delivery processes for embedded software used in power tools. This role supports the automation of build, test, integration, and release activities to improve software quality, development efficiency, and delivery reliability. The position works closely with embedded software, systems, test, and quality teams to implement scalable engineering practices and ensure robust software lifecycle management.
Job Description
- Design, implement, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for embedded software development, integration, testing, and release.
- Support firmware and embedded software build automation for platforms and related control systems.
- Integrate white box and unit-level testing into CI pipelines for early defect detection.
- Troubleshoot build failures, pipeline issues, and test environment problems.
- Develop scripts and tools to improve engineering productivity and reduce manual effort.
- Support software quality, traceability, and release readiness across product development programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align CI/CD practices with embedded development needs.
- Maintain technical documentation, standards, and best practices for software delivery processes.
Employee Specifications
- ≥Master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, build and release engineering, or CI/CD automation.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and automation practices; Jenkins, Git and Python, Bash, PowerShell, SonarQube, Sonar Cloud, or similar quality tools.
- Experience in motor control, connected devices, battery systems, or related embedded product domains.
- Experience with embedded software build, integration, and release processes.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and drive continuous improvement
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
