  • Working with and escorting external contractors while ensuring compliance with facility rules

  • Participating in training, construction and commissioning activities as required

  • Contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence

  • Working shifts to support 24/7 data center operations and being flexible when coverage of other shifts is required

What we're looking for

We are looking for a technically minded and responsible professional who can maintain focus in a high-pressure environment and who understands the importance of safety, reliability and attention to detail.

You ideally have:

  • Technical education or training, preferably as an Electrician, Marine Engineer or Cooling Technician

  • Experience from a control room environment, including monitoring BMS, SCADA and Fire Life Safety systems

  • Experience with automation, CTS, CR, SCADA, networks and servers

  • 1–3+ years of experience in a mission-critical environment, such as a data center, shipping, power/heat plant or oil & gas

  • Electrical or mechanical certification/licence

  • The ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical manuals, drawings and sketches

  • The ability to work safely and proficiently with hand and power tools

Who you are

You are a team player with strong communication skills and a practical, solution-oriented mindset. You remain calm when things get busy and are comfortable taking responsibility when an issue needs to be resolved.

We value someone who:

  • Communicates effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

  • Has strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Is comfortable working in a high-pressure environment

  • Has a strong attention to detail and takes pride in their work

  • Has a positive, can-do attitude

  • Works well as part of a team and contributes to a positive working environment

  • Can adapt to changing priorities and operational needs

  • Is proactive, reliable and willing to step in when needed

  • Has good technical writing skills and can contribute to MOPs, SOPs and EOPs

A role where you can grow
