Description
Ruder Finn is seeking a Senior Analyst, Research & Analytics to join its award-winning TechLab team. This role will support analytics, reporting and measurement across integrated marketing programs. The Senior Analyst will work closely with digital and paid media, communications, creative and strategy teams across the U.S. and India in a collaborative, fast-paced environment focused on innovation, AI, emerging technologies and marketing performance.
The ideal candidate has experience working with paid media, digital marketing or campaign analytics and enjoys turning data into clear, actionable insights. This person should be comfortable analyzing campaign performance, building reports and dashboards, identifying trends and helping teams understand what is working and where improvements can be made. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who wants to expand their analytics expertise while supporting major client accounts and contributing to Ruder Finn’s growing technology and measurement capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Support analytics and measurement across paid media and integrated marketing programs.
Collect, organize and analyze campaign data from paid media platforms, web analytics tools, and other relevant sources.
Assist with evaluating campaign performance on platforms such as Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Google Ads, programmatic DSPs,GA4, etc.
Track campaign objectives, KPIs, and benchmarks to identify performance trends and optimization opportunities.
Translate data into clear insights and practical recommendations.
Partner with paid media teams to support audience analysis, testing plans, and campaign optimization
Develop recurring campaign reports, performance summaries and client-facing presentations.
Build and maintain dashboards using analytics platforms such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI and/or Looker Studio.
Help maintain consistent KPI definitions, reporting templates, while reviewing reports and dashboards for accuracy
Support automated and semi-automated reporting solutions that improve efficiency and reduce manual reporting.
Contribute to analytics research and insights to client proposals, presentations and new business pitches.
Stay informed about emerging analytics, AI and automation tools that could strengthen reporting and measurement capabilities.
Participate in internal training and share analytics best practices with colleagues.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Marketing, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
2+ years of experience in marketing analytics, paid media, digital marketing, performance reporting or a related field.
Experience working within an integrated marketing, communications, paid media or digital agency is preferred.
Understanding of paid social, paid search, programmatic and other paid media channels.
Experience analyzing campaign performance and developing reports or dashboards.
Familiarity with platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Ads and GA4.
Experience with Tableau, Microsoft Power BI and/or Looker Studio.
Strong working knowledge of Excel and/or Google Sheets.
Ability to work with data from multiple platforms and identify trends, discrepancies and performance opportunities.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Ability to translate data into clear, concise insights for internal teams and clients.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
Familiarity with SQL, APIs, data warehouses, Python, R or cloud-based analytics tools is a plus.
Experience with social listening, media monitoring or competitive intelligence platforms such as Talkwalker, Brandwatch, Cision, Meltwater, Rival IQ or Signal AI is a plus.
Interest in AI-enabled analytics, reporting automation and emerging technology is preferred.
Experience supporting healthcare, consumer, B2B and/or technology clients is helpful but not required.
