What this role is all about
Exceptional guest experiences are often shaped by the little details — and our Minibar Attendants help ensure guest rooms are fully stocked, refreshed, and ready to elevate every stay. As a Minibar Attendant, you’ll manage in-room minibar service while helping maintain presentation, inventory accuracy, and exceptional hospitality standards across the hotel.

What you’ll be doing
Restock and replenish guest room minibars according to hotel standards, inventory guidelines, and guest consumption records.
Inspect minibars, snacks, beverages, and in-room products to ensure freshness, cleanliness, presentation quality, and operational readiness.
Accurately record minibar consumption, charges, inventory movement, and operational updates using hotel systems and reporting procedures.
Maintain organization, cleanliness, and stock levels across minibar storage areas, carts, coolers, and operational workspaces.
Deliver exceptional guest service while responding professionally to guest requests, minibar inquiries, and operational needs.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages, damaged items, or replenishment needs promptly to leadership teams.
Follow food safety standards, sanitation procedures, responsible alcohol service guidelines, and hotel operational policies at all times.
Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Front Office, Food & Beverage, and hotel leadership teams to support seamless guest experiences.
Assist with VIP room setups, amenities, special requests, and guest experience enhancements as needed.
Support operational projects, inventory counts, stock rotation, and minibar organization initiatives throughout shifts.
Help foster a welcoming, detail-focused, and guest-oriented culture aligned with Sonesta’s People People philosophy.
Any other duties as assigned.
What great looks like
Previous hospitality, housekeeping, minibar, food & beverage, retail, inventory, or customer service experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, organization, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Experience handling inventory, stock replenishment, operational reporting, or POS systems preferred.
Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
Knowledge of food safety procedures, sanitation standards, and responsible alcohol service practices preferred.
Positive attitude with a dependable, service-focused, and team-oriented mindset.
Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and operational support as needed.
A passion for hospitality, operational excellence, teamwork, and creating exceptional guest experiences through thoughtful details.
Anticipated Pay Range & Additional Job Information
$18.00 per hour
