Job Description:

Job Title: Sr Manager PMO & Project Management, MedTech Deliver EMEA.

The DELIVER organization strives to deliver outstanding customer experience through leading critical supply chain functions such as distribution, logistics, and transportation across the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies.

DELIVER EMEA leads a sophisticated network of Distribution Centers (DCs) and transportation across Europe, Middle East and Africa supporting multiple distribution channels to J&J’s broad range of customers.

PURPOSE OF POSITION

• Support EMEA MedTech Deliver organization through efficient Portfolio Management Office and flawless Project Management execution.
• Run EMEA Deliver projects in Distribution/Transportation.
• Lead EMEA Portfolio for Deliver, Customer Solutions and Transformation functions.
• Lead a dedicated PPMO team.

Responsibilities/principal duties

• Lead EMEA MedTech Deliver, Customer solutions and Transformation portfolio strategy and health.
• Lead Monthly Business Review preparing for key governance sessions.
• Orchestrate projects pipeline, lead self and assign resources to projects in partnership with the MedTech Deliver Leadership team.
• Run CIP's (Continuous/Cost Improvement Program) engine for the region, ideation processes, and resources to support Project Management.
• Implement end to end project life cycle, business strategy, project case, budget approvals & budget management, execution, adoption and closure.
• Coordinate preparation, execution, and monitoring of Deliver financial commitments (LRFP, Business Plan, Latest Thinking updates).
• Partner with finance and operations to strengthen financial savvy and drive accountability.
• Drive and improve key project management processes: portfolio governance, investments reporting, project governance review.
• Implement JnJ Project Management methodology (FPX) and ensure adherence.
• Nurture relationships and communications with strategic partners and senior leaders to provide information and insights to enable decisions, approvals and strategic plans.
• Lead, mentor and develop a dedicated & high-performing PPMO team.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

• University/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 9+ years in relevant leadership roles, including Project management of large-size projects.
• Experience working in a global function, navigating through articulated environment across Logistics, Customer Services and Supply Chain (preferably in Healthcare industry).
• Advanced knowledge of portfolio and project management concepts, governance models, and lifecycle controls; ability to translate strategy into an executable portfolio roadmap.
• Demonstrated capability to drive well-adapted project/portfolio practices (e.g., FPX or comparable methodology), including prioritization, resource/capacity modeling, schedule management, dependency management, and benefits tracking.
• Business and financial savvy to support Business Plan and Latest Thinking updates; ability to supervise financial commitments, track investment performance, and find opportunities to optimize portfolio value.
• Consistent track record developing and building diverse, high-performance teams with a strong sense of mission.
• Strong stakeholder leadership skills, including ability to influence without authority across cross-functional partners and align teams to decisions.
• Change leadership and continuous improvement attitude; ability to design and improve processes, drive adoption of governance/tools, and improve portfolio execution maturity.
• Proficiency with data, business intelligence, reporting and AI tools to enable portfolio transparency and executive-ready communication (e.g., Power BI, QuickBase, and presentation tools).
• Project Management certification is strongly preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights and recommendations for monthly/quarterly operating reviews.
• Proficiency in English (both verbal and written); other languages are an asset.
