Shift: Overnight – typically 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Handle overnight guest requests and ensure follow-through.

Process payments, deposits, refunds, and other guest transactions accurately.

Monitor the hotel and remain alert to guest safety, security, and property concerns.

Conduct or coordinate overnight property and guest corridor checks as required.

Follow all hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures.

Maintain communication with other overnight associates as necessary.

Ensure overnight common-area checks are completed, and the property remains clean, orderly, and secure.

Follow up on the removal of room service trays and other overnight items, as applicable.

Maintain accurate overnight logs and records.

Properly handle Lost & Found items according to hotel procedures.

Respond appropriately to emergencies and contact management or emergency services when necessary.

Teamwork & Communication

Provide a thorough and accurate shift handoff to the morning team.

Communicate important guest, maintenance, security, and operational issues to management.

Maintain professional communication with all hotel departments.

Assist with training new Night Auditors when requested.

Attend meetings and training as required.

Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager or hotel management.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

At least 1 year of hotel, hospitality, front desk, accounting, or related experience preferred.

Comfortable working with computers and hotel operating systems.

Experience with spreadsheets and standard office applications preferred.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
