JOB TITLE: Scientist – In Vivo CAR-T Therapy
JOB DUTIES:
The Scientist – In Vivo CAR-T Therapy will have the following duties: Design, plan, and execute experimental studies to advance cell and gene therapy platforms and pipeline programs, with a focus on in vivo CAR T development from early discovery through preclinical development. Conduct and analyze in vitro and in vivo studies to evaluate product potency, efficacy, and safety. Develop, optimize, validate, and troubleshoot experimental assays and laboratory methods, including cell line engineering, cell-based functional and cytotoxicity assays, ELISA and PCR-based assays, high-throughput binder screening, and viral vector packaging and titration. Analyze, interpret, and summarize complex scientific data generated from experimental studies and maintain accurate, complete, and well-organized experimental records and documentation. Prepare clear, detailed, and high-quality technical reports, summaries, and presentations to communicate research findings, experimental results, and scientific conclusions. Collaborate closely with internal research and early development teams in a cross-functional environment to support translation of novel scientific concepts into therapeutic candidates and advancement of cell and gene therapy research programs.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education Required: PhD in Immunology, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a closely related field.
Experience Required: 2 yrs of experience in hands on experience in cell and/or gene therapy research.

WORK HOURS: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 5 days 40 hr/wk
SALARY: $119,692.00 per year

The base pay range below is what Legend Biotech USA Inc. reasonably expects to offer at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location. The company reserves the right to modify this range as needed and in accordance with applicable laws.
Other Types of Pay: Performance-based bonus and/or equity is available to employees in eligible roles.
