Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager.
## What you’ll do:
Job Summary:
Lead the Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement function for Haina MCB, providing direction, coaching, and governance to improve business performance and support plant strategic objectives. Responsible for the deployment and sustainment of Eaton Business System (EBS), Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF), Lean Management, and Eaton Lean Six Sigma (ELSS) initiatives.
Partner with plant leadership to identify, prioritize, and execute improvement opportunities that drive productivity, cost reduction, quality improvement, inventory optimization, and customer satisfaction. Lead the Continuous Improvement team and promote a culture of accountability, problem solving, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
1- Lead the deployment of the plant Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational priorities.
2- Manage and develop the Continuous Improvement team, including coaching, performance management, capability development, and succession planning.
3- Own the deployment and sustainment of Eaton Business System (EBS), Eaton Continuous Improvement System (ECIS), Lean Management, and Eaton Lean Six Sigma (ELSS) across the plant.
4- Lead the prioritization, execution, and sustainability of Continuous Improvement projects to drive productivity, cost reduction, quality improvement, inventory optimization, and customer satisfaction.
5- Partner with plant leadership to identify strategic improvement opportunities and remove barriers that impact operational performance and business results.
6- Establish and promote a culture of continuous improvement through training, coaching, employee engagement, and change management activities.
7- Monitor and communicate Operational Excellence performance through metrics, assessments, maturity models, and project benefit realization to drive accountability across the organization.
8- Represent the Continuous Improvement function as a member of the plant extended leadership team, providing guidance and support to achieve operational and strategic goals
## Qualifications:
Education level required:
- Bachelor’s degree on industrial, electrical, or electromechanical engineering, business administration or other science.
- Master’s degree in engineering, administration, or other science preferable.
- Certified Six Sigma Yelow Belt Black Belt or Green Belt certification
Years and area of experience required:
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Manufacturing, Operations, Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Engineering, or related disciplines, including experience leading teams and driving cross functional improvement initiatives
Technical knowledge:
- Fully Bilingual (English / Spanish)
- Lean Management Certification preferred.
- Demonstrated experience using Lean Tools:
(a) able to identify applicable Lean tools in the given business environment and deploying them in an appropriate manner through training and Kaizen events;
(b) able to see Lean tools, Kaizens / Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs) and Lean Management principles as part of a continuous improvement system;
(c) able to assess deployment of applicable Lean tools and systems to identify and address gaps.
- Successfull use of one or more Problem Solving tools to improve business metrics and results.
- Knowledge and use of Six sigma methodology.
- Project Management Knowledge.
- PC knowledge: Microsoft Office, MS Project y MS Visio.
