As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, monitor assigned areas, respond to alarms, and help to deter security-related incidents. A valid driver’s license is required for this driving post. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and members of the public at a government transportation location by carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, parking areas, access points, perimeter areas, and transportation-related infrastructure to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized persons, suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify emergency services and/or site contacts according to established procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift records while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
