This role sits within the Supply Chain & Engineering (SC&E) Growth & Strategy (G&S) function Overall Responsibilities Support development of the SC&E Reinvention Partner strategy by conducting analyses, market research, and modelling that underpin the three growth pivots: Services + Products, IP Revenue Growth, and Core Value Chain Reinvention. Contribute to the identification of differentiated growth ideas through structured analysis of data, markets, and trends. Track emerging technology trends — including Physical AI, industrial automation, and digital infrastructure — and synthesize early findings for review. Support inorganic growth priorities through market research and preliminary analysis of M&A opportunities and acquisition targets. Prepare inputs for diligence and lookback reviews, and maintain a current mapping of the M&A and partnership landscape relevant to SC&E. Gather and analyse competitive, ecosystem, and macro-trend intelligence to inform team perspectives and leadership materials. Maintain up-to-date views on competitive dynamics, adjacent market entrants, and ecosystem shifts. Support the translation of strategic priorities into activation plans — documenting owners, milestones, and dependencies. Track KPIs and investment ROI metrics, flagging deviations for escalation. Prepare drafts of business cases, strategic analyses, and executive-level presentations for review by senior team members. Support analyst engagement — including Gartner, Everest Group, IDC, and HFS — through research and preparation of briefing materials. Skills Required Solid structured problem-solving and analytical skills — able to break down defined problems and synthesize data into clear findings. Strong quantitative and business-case skills, including basic TAM sizing, CAGR analysis, and ROI tracking under guidance. Developing business acumen and interest in industrial, engineering, and asset-intensive sectors. Ability to conduct rigorous, insight-led research across market, competitive, ecosystem, and technology dimensions. Developing familiarity with supply chain, engineering services, capital projects, and/or industrial technology markets. Awareness of Technology, AI (including Physical and Industrial AI), data, and ecosystem trends relevant to SC&E. High proficiency with AI tools for research acceleration, insight synthesis, and content development — able to critically evaluate outputs and integrate them with domain judgment. Clear written and visual communication skills — able to produce well-structured, senior-audience-ready analyses and presentations. Strong collaboration skills; able to work effectively with team members and cross-functional stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and quality. Eagerness to learn, take feedback, and grow domain and strategy expertise quickly. Education Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred. Experience 4–7 years of work experience, with exposure to strategy, management consulting, corporate strategy, business analysis, or industrial technology. Experience conducting market research, competitive intelligence, and business analysis, ideally in supply chain, engineering, or adjacent industrial sectors. Experience preparing analyses and executive-ready presentation materials. Demonstrated ability to contribute to strategic analyses and growth initiatives as part of a team. Preferred Knowledge of Physical AI, Industrial AI, digital twins, or advanced manufacturing trends. Exposure to V&A (M&A) pipeline evaluation, deal diligence, or inorganic growth strategy. Familiarity with strategic analyst relations and major analyst firms covering SC&E-adjacent markets. Familiarity with Accenture's SC&E offerings, offering architecture, or GTM framework
