Lombard/mortgage Credit Risk Management Officer 100% (f/m/d)

The incumbent will work closely with Credit and Legal Departments to perform credit portfolio controls and reporting. This includes managing of both Lombard and Mortgages Credits in distress and submission for approval to Competency Holder as well as cooperation with the Bank’s Legal Advisors.
The incumbent is required to perform checks and controls to assure credit activities are carried out within the BJB’s local and group requirement, including irregular accounts review and impaired assets reporting, and ensuring proper risk standards are implemented and adhered to at all times.

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Analyse detailed requests for credit transactions and submit to decision-making competency holder;

• Contribute to performance of periodic control activity for individual credit files and on the credit book

• Preparation of non-standard Documentation required in situation of contract violation or Court Proceedings

• Monitor transactions and credit positions in distress to ensure follow-up with all stakeholders and supervise handling of collateral shortfall / excess positions;

• Contribute in credit related projects and process improvements.

YOUR PROFILE

• University degree with financial focus or similar higher education or qualification

• Knowledge on Lombard products and Real Estate Market in France/Monaco

• Strong analytical skills, calculated risk taker, stay abreast with legal, tax and reputational issues

• At least 5-year experience in similar role with a bank

  Sound general knowledge including Mortgage and Lombard credit, legal and regulatory environment for impaired credit positions and recovery strategy, etc.

  Meticulous and able to handle transactions from start to finish.

• Sound judgement and initiative with focus on risk-driven decision-making, motivated entrepreneurial mind-set.
