The team is essential in managing merchandise flow within the Walmart Layout Center, handling tasks from receiving and delivering products to building and relocating fixtures and pricing items. Members maintain a safe, organized environment while operating equipment such as forklifts and supporting shipping and receiving processes. What you'll do:

• Assist in removing released merchandise by pulling and staging pallets for associate stores, ensuring accurate shipment and disposal of damaged items.
• Provide customer service by supporting suppliers, buyers, and associates with deliveries, locating lost merchandise, and addressing shipping inquiries.
• Build and dismantle fixtures, prepare for line reviews, and maintain proper signage on steel.
• Operate forklifts and power equipment while maintaining safety and security throughout the Layout Center.
• Maintain cleanliness by organizing work areas, managing recycling, and performing general housekeeping duties.
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks, communicate progress, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll bring:

• Experience in inventory management and shipping and receiving processes within a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift certification and proficiency in operating power equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong customer service skills to assist suppliers, buyers, and associates effectively.
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following all safety compliance procedures.
• Commitment to ethical standards and conduct, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to support team objectives and resolve issues promptly.
• Attention to detail in staging, tracking, and handling merchandise accurately.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 - $28.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
