As a SIT engineer, you will work in an integrated product team (IPT) environment to design, develop, and implement test plans and procedures for software (SW) requirement verification & validation. You will be responsible for SW integration, requirement analysis, test planning and execution, SW performance analysis, troubleshooting and coordination for remediation. In this role you will write test procedure scripts in Perl, Python, Linux, and with automated software test tools. In support of the test execution leads, you will conduct test walk throughs, and communicate plans, status and out-briefs with the IPT leads, team members, and the customer.
This position can be filled at either a Level 2 or Level 3.
Basic Qualifications for Level 2:
Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 2 years of related experience, or a Master's degree in STEM
Must have an active SCI at time of application or an active TS clearance at time of application with the ability to obtain SCI within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company prior to start date
Working knowledge of software integration and test principles and processes
Experience in Test Automation scripting and languages (Perl, Python, Linux, automated software test tools such as Eggplant, Robot Framework, and Selenium)
Experience using Atlassian software development tool suite (Bamboo, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, etc)
Basic Qualifications for Level 3:
Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5 years of related experience; OR a Master's degree in STEM with 3 years of related experience; OR, a PhD with 1 year of related experience
Must have an active SCI at time of application or an active TS clearance at time of application with the ability to obtain SCI within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company prior to start date
Working knowledge of software integration and test principles and processes
Experience in Test Automation scripting and languages (Perl, Python, Linux, automated software test tools such as Eggplant, Robot Framework, and Selenium)
Experience using Atlassian software development tool suite (Bamboo, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, etc)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in an Agile environment
Experience in Formal Qualifying Campaigns and requirements verification Experience in interface testing
Space and Ground Domain knowledge
Ability to travel to field sites to support software installations
Be able to work independently and in a team environment and have excellent oral/written communication skills
