Description
Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Manager: Organisational Effectiveness and Transformation to lead organisation-wide initiatives across organisational development, change management, strategic workforce planning, transformation, performance management and employee wellness. This senior leadership role will partner closely with executives and key stakeholders to build an agile, high-performance culture aligned with the organisation’s long-term strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute organisational development, transformation and strategic workforce planning strategies and frameworks.
- Lead organisational design, change management and team effectiveness initiatives across the business.
- Drive strategic workforce planning, identify people-related risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Develop and continuously enhance performance management frameworks, policies and processes.
- Translate organisational vision, values and strategy into meaningful behaviours and practices that strengthen culture and employee engagement.
- Lead organisational transformation initiatives, including Employment Equity strategies, policies, reporting and interventions.
- Oversee job evaluation, organisational structures, role profiling and organisational design processes.
- Provide strategic oversight of employee wellness and occupational health programmes.
- Partner with executives and senior leaders, providing coaching and guidance on organisational effectiveness and change.
- Manage departmental budgets, service providers and a multidisciplinary team while ensuring effective operational delivery.
Requirements:
- Degree in Organisational Psychology, Human Resources or a related field.
- Honours degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Organisational Development would be advantageous.
- MBA or related qualification would be advantageous.
- Minimum 10 years’ HR experience, including at least 5 years in organisational development and change management, with demonstrated impactful outcomes.
- Approximately 5–8 years’ management experience.
- Proven experience developing and implementing organisational and change strategies.
- Extensive expertise in organisational development, organisational design, performance management, talent management, succession planning, competency frameworks and leadership development.
- Strong knowledge of Employment Equity and relevant labour legislation, occupational health and safety, risk management and business strategy.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively at executive and board level.
- Strong leadership, coaching, analytical and change management capabilities.
- Advanced MS Office skills and SAP experience.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to undertake national travel and overnight stays when required.
