About the Team UKG Internal Audit is evolving into a risk-aligned function focused on relevant assurance, practical advice, and meaningful business insight. Our Controls Assurance Center of Excellence provides scalable, high-quality internal controls assurance supporting Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, India Companies Act requirements, and other control assurance activities. This role reports to the Director, Internal Controls Center of Excellence. About the Role As Manager, Information Technology Controls Assurance, you will lead the execution and continued improvement of UKG's technology internal controls testing programs. You will: Manage testing strategies and execution for IT general controls, automated application controls, information produced by the entity, relevant System and Organization Controls reports, and IT controls supporting SOX and India Companies Act requirements. Lead and develop a team of approximately two to three professionals while coordinating work performed by our strategic co-source provider to deliver high-quality, timely testing. Serve as a key Internal Audit contact for external auditors on IT SOX matters, including testing reliance, evidence requests, issue alignment, and remediation. Partner collaboratively with IT and Governance, Risk and Compliance teams to provide practical control guidance, influence change, and strengthen the technology control environment. Identify opportunities to improve control design, rationalize and automate controls, enhance testing efficiency, and responsibly apply artificial intelligence to strengthen controls assurance activities. Monitor control deficiencies and remediation, providing clear insights to management and helping drive sustainable solutions. Support enterprise IT risk assessment and Internal Audit planning activities by contributing technology risk insights, control perspectives, and knowledge of the IT environment. As a secondary responsibility, support selected IT operational audits and advisory reviews based on business needs and the broader Internal Audit plan. Contribute meaningfully as a leader within the global Internal Audit team to department-wide quality, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives, helping advance consistent practices and capabilities across the function. Required qualifications: - 8+ years of experience in IT internal audit, IT SOX, technology risk, controls assurance, or related consulting. Demonstrated experience successfully managing an IT SOX program for a U.S. publicly traded company. Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or equivalent relevant professional certification. Bachelor's degree in information systems, technology, business, or a related discipline. Preferred Qualifications Experience within a software-as-a-service or technology company. Experience with India Companies Act internal controls requirements. Experience managing co-source providers and developing professional-level teams. Experience improving controls programs through automation, analytics, or responsible use of artificial intelligence.
