VodafoneThree - Infrastructure Build Lead

Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday The role combines strategic delivery leadership with hands on deployment oversight, ensuring the successful rollout of core network infrastructure across Data Centres, transmission sites, and critical network locations. It plays a key role in enabling capacity growth, network transformation, and enterprise connectivity solutions. Own the Installation & Commissioning (I&C) lifecycle, including planning, staging, deployment, handover, and service introduction, with a focus on Right First Time delivery and quality outcomes. Provide technical leadership for IP and optical network deployments, defining processes, procedures, resource plans, and roadmaps to meet business and platform demand. Act as the senior escalation point and Designated Operational Authority (DOA), supporting complex deployments and providing 3rd line field technical support to Operations and Enterprise teams. Drive continuous improvement across I&C and field delivery by optimising processes, enhancing performance metrics, reducing costs, and improving delivery efficiency and timelines. Lead, mentor, and develop engineers, partners, and suppliers while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and technical standards through close collaboration with Network Engineering and external stakeholders. Deep understanding of Core Network infrastructure and deployment methodologies Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional delivery programmes Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner. Strong networking, engagement, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective virtual teams in a complex environment. Possess extensive technical expertise in Transmission, IP and Mobile core rollouts and upgrades with strategic and tactical awareness.
