Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) – Long-Term Care
Location: Cambridge, ON
Assignment Location: Brantford Area, Ontario
Employment: Casual
Pay: $34.00/hour
Start: ASAP
HealthOPM staffing agency is recruiting Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) for casual shifts within a long-term care home in the Brantford area. We're seeking reliable nurses who are comfortable supporting older adults and can offer flexible availability for ongoing casual coverage.
The Role
- Provide resident-centred nursing care in accordance with established care plans
- Administer medications and treatments within RPN scope of practice
- Monitor and document resident health status and changes in condition
- Communicate with RNs, physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
- Support PSWs and contribute to safe, consistent resident care
Requirements
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Previous long-term care, retirement or geriatric nursing experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Vulnerable Sector Check and required health/immunization documentation
- Reliable transportation to the Brantford area
- Flexible casual availability, including weekends
- Able to start as soon as possible
