Aerospace Technician (Heat Treat)

Join our aerospace manufacturing team! We are looking for a detail-oriented Heat Treatment Technician to operate vacuum furnaces and support heat-treatment and brazing processes in a quality- and safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate vacuum furnaces for heat-treatment and brazing operations.
• Perform incoming inspection before heat treatment.
• Carry out plasma preparation, including masking, grit blasting and machine setup.
• Perform TPM checks and routine equipment checks.
• Conduct SAT, uniformity and vacuum furnace leak-rate checks.
• Select and verify heat-treatment programs according to requirements.
• Read and interpret chart paper and furnace records.
• Monitor parts and equipment, identify abnormal conditions and take appropriate action.
• Maintain accurate heat-treatment logs, production records and system transactions.
• Follow job travelers, operation sheets, OEM manuals, engineering instructions and other technical data.
• Report non-conformances involving parts, paperwork, equipment, tooling or materials to the Cell Leader.
• Maintain good housekeeping and comply with all quality, safety and work instructions.
• Manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting production requirements.

Requirements

• GCE O-Level, NITEC, Technician Certificate or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the aerospace industry.
• Able to read and interpret operation sheets and follow complex technical instructions.
• Strong attention to detail with good troubleshooting and multitasking abilities.
• Safety-conscious and committed to quality and process compliance.
