The Logistics and Property Management (LPM) organization is seeking an individual to support the Customer Oriented Results & Excellence (CORE) Program. CORE is the continuously improved operating system used within Raytheon and across RTX. It provides a standardized methodology and common language to support alignment, integration, and performance across the enterprise, enabling consistent processes and value delivery for customers.

This position is responsible for ensuring CORE systems and processes are implemented, maintained, and aligned with established practices. The role works directly with LPM senior leadership and value stream partners to apply the CORE Operating System in support of business results. Additional responsibilities include supporting strategic goal alignment and transformation activities across LPM.

 

What You Will Do

• Follow CORE procedures and policies to ensure consistent application of standards across all improvement activities.
• Enhance adoption and effective use of the CORE operating system within site and functional processes.
• Facilitate CORE engagements, workshops, and problem‑solving sessions to improve processes and resolve operational challenges.
• Provide CORE guidance, coaching, and training to build organizational capability in continuous improvement.
• Support transformation projects and organizational initiatives by offering CORE expertise, analytical support, and change‑management guidance.
• Assist with implementing CORE tools, systems, and practices across teams and locations.
• Lead continuous improvement events, including Kaizen workshops and Lean activities, to drive measurable operational gains.
• Track, analyze, and report key metrics related to CORE initiatives and site maturity.
• Coach employees on CORE tools and methodologies such as standard work, value‑stream mapping, visual management, and structured problem solving.
• Develop high‑quality CORE training materials, presentations, and resources for use across the organization.
• Oversee and coordinate CORE and Lean training programs and engagement activities.
• Ensure progression of site CORE maturity by assessing performance, identifying gaps, and guiding improvement roadmaps.
• Provide recommendations that improve cost, efficiency, productivity, and quality across operational processes.
• Brief senior leadership on CORE activities, progress, risks, and opportunities through clear, data‑driven updates

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree of equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
• Experience with Logistics, Property Management, Operations, or Supply Chain.
• Experience leading process improvement or operational excellence initiatives.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Advanced CORE certification.
• Certification or experience in lean or process improvement methodologies
• Experience in SharePoint Content Management.
• Experience communicating effectively, both written and verbal, with internal and external stakeholders.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
