Associate, Wealth Management

What is the opportunity?

You will be a Wealth Management Associate, providing support and assistance under the guidance of senior colleagues in Wealth Management. This role is designed for structured development, offering hands-on experience, mentorship and full support to achieve industry-specific qualifications, with a clear progression route into a Wealth Manager or Wealth Paraplanner position.

This is a permanent, full-time role and requires 4 days in the office at our Edinburgh location, with flexibility to work 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.

What will you do?

• Work closely with senior wealth professionals, gaining exposure to client support, investment solutions and financial planning under expert supervision

• Progress through a structured pathway to advance into a Wealth Manager or Wealth Paraplanner role, supported by RBC's commitment to your success

• Collate and verify the accuracy of information and work provided

• Support wealth colleagues with all aspects of client support, including preparation of reviews and client documentation

• Develop knowledge of investment, lending, cash and trust solutions through exposure to client support

• Provide clients with information (not advice) in accordance with regulatory requirements

• Support business development through correct application of client processes and procedures

• Collaborate with One RBC partners and functional colleagues across platforms to ensure clients receive exceptional service

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Strong attention to detail and a passion for Wealth Management

• Clear and concise communication skills – oral and written

• Commitment to achieving industry qualifications – no prior qualifications are required, as we fund and support your journey

Nice-to-have

• Awareness of RBC Brewin Dolphin's values and culture

• Basic experience or exposure to financial products
